An electric current controller for a clutch with a paper money cassette is provided to extend a lifetime by preventing a temperature rise of the clutch through a current with a chopping frequency shape. A clutch(130) is positioned between the motor and the roller for drawing out a paper money in a paper money cassette of an ATM(Automated Teller Machine) and blocks or connects rotary power transmitted from a motor to a roller. A chopping frequency conversion unit(120) reduces an effective value of a current by converting the current supplied to the clutch into a chopping frequency current with a chopping frequency shape. A control unit(110) draws in and out the paper money and supplies a predetermined chopping frequency to the chopping frequency conversion unit by controlling the clutch and the chopping frequency conversion unit.
