An optical film for a back light unit is provided to enable protrusion patterns to concentrate light incident from the lower surface of a transparent film to the upper part, thereby improving the luminance and reducing the number of light sources used in the back light unit or reducing the power consumption of the back light unit. An optical film(100) includes a transparent film(110) and plural protrusion patterns(120). The protrusion patterns are spaced from each other on the transparent film and include reflection particles(124) in the inside. The protrusion patterns are formed using UV(Ultra Violet) hardening resin(122) as a medium. The reflection particles are formed using silver or aluminum. The protrusion patterns are formed in a prism shape. The protrusion patterns are formed at regular intervals. The bottom surface(d) of the protrusion pattern contact with the transparent film is smaller than the interval(D). |
