A light emitting device is provided to suppress an increase of an operational voltage by maintaining an effective light emitting area and increasing reflectance of a reflective layer. A light emitting device includes a substrate(110) and a stacked body of a first conductive type semiconductor layer(130), an active layer(140), and a second conductive type semiconductor layer(150). The light emitting device further includes a reflective electrode formed between the substrate and the stacked body. The reflective electrode includes a first reflective layer(120) formed on the substrate in order to reflect the light of the active layer and a second reflective layer(170) formed on the first reflective layer. The first reflective layer includes a conductive reflection material. The second reflective layer includes a dielectric part(171) for reflecting the light and one or more contact hole(172) filled with a conductive filler. The second reflective layer has a thickness larger than a wavelength of the light.
