<p>The fitting has an outlet, and a functional unit (4) e.g. control unit, with a connection (41) for a water inflow and a fixing rod (5) guiding water and connecting the functional unit and the outlet, where the outlet is connected with the fixing rod via a plug connection. A pre-mounted part of an armature of the functional unit and the fixing rod is insertable from a lower side of a horizontal plate (2) into a mounting opening (3) and is fixable from a top side of the plate, where the functional unit is arranged under the plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a sanitary fitting at a horizontal plate.</p> |
