A router comprises a motor housing 12, which has at least one handle 10, and a tool holding fixture 16, which projects from its lower side 14. The router also comprises a cooling device, which has a sucking-in device, such as a fan wheel 18, for sucking in cooling air through sucking-in openings 20 arranged in the motor housing and a cooling-air duct 22 for leading cooling air through the motor housing, which duct opens into a blowing-out device having means 24 for the discharge of cooling air from the motor housing. The means of the blowing-out device are configured in such a way that, in use, the cooling air is discharged only in at least one region 26, 28 of the router directed away from its operator. |
