Hand-held oral irrigator

A hand-held irrigator for cleaning between teeth and bridge work comprises a micro-pump 3, reservoir 6 and 12v batteries 4 contained within a casing 2. The pump 3 pumps water or an antiseptic and water solution from the reservoir 6 via tubing 7 and a nozzle 1 directs the water or solution between the teeth. The casing 2 may be moulded in two halves and assembled by pressing the halves together, the reservoir 6 is screwed in after assembly. The reservoir 6 screws into the inlet of the pump which has a rubber seal 9 to prevent leaks. The irrigator may be used on humans or animals.
