PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for packaging which, while maintaining the characteristics of a polyester film, i.e. low moisture absorption properties, dimensional stability, flatness, and transparency, has the characteristics of a biaxially oriented polyamide film, i.e. impact resistance and flexural pinhole resistance, and, in addition, excellent gas barrier properties; and a packaging material using the polyester film. SOLUTION: The polyester film for packaging is made of a polyester resin containing 0.1-5 wt% low-Tg polymer having a glass transition temperature of -100 to 20°C. The major axis of dispersed particles of the low-Tg polymer in the film is 0.3-1.0μm, and the minor axis is 1-50 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
