Offset printing press with adjustment of the cut-off register and corresponding method

The press (1) has a control system (25) controlling a passage of paper printing units (7, 9, 11, 13) under pressure configuration. Upper and lower printing groups include a plate cylinder and a print cylinder that are connected with a pressure cylinder. The system controls a paper bandage (3) to be scrolled in a space between the print cylinder and the pressure cylinder. The system controls acceleration of the plate cylinder to modify adjustment of a print-to-cut register between the printing units and a folding machine (23). An independent claim is also included for a method for modifying a print-to-cut register of an offset paper printing press.
