An impact reducing structure capable of efficiently reducing an impact on the lower limbs of an occupant. The impact reducing structure protecting the occupant in a cabin reduces the impact produced when a structural body disposed on the forward outside of the cabin moves to the side of the cabin. The impact reducing structure is characterized by comprising a pressurizing mechanism part installed on the forward outer side of the cabin and applying an external pressure to the structural body in the lower direction of the vehicle to suppress the advancement of the structural body to the cabin side in an emergency and a drive part operating the pressurizing mechanism part in an emergency.
