<p>A packaging for accommodating a food product, in particular cheese or cheese slices, comprises a tray-shaped container (3) which is provided with a bottom (7) and a standing peripheral wall (8) which extends from the bottom. The container has a peripheral first collar (12) which projects outwards substantially transversely from the peripheral wall. The container is open at an upper end which is remote from the bottom. A lid (5) is provided for closing the open upper end of the container. The lid comprises a peripheral second collar (16) which is aligned with respect to the peripheral first collar of the container and is attached thereto by means of a peripheral sealing seam (19). At least one of the collars comprises at least one line of weakening (20), which is provided in such a manner that a removable tear strip (22) is formed, which at least partly corresponds to the sealing seam (19). The line of weakening (20) is provided in the peripheral second collar (16) of the lid. The lid is provided with a multilayer film (36) which comprises several plastic layers. The line of weakening (16) is formed by a laser beam.</p> |
