REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOBILE OF LOOK & FEEL

A system and a method for handling terminal settings remotely are provided to enable a terminal to transmit setting information to the other terminal and install the setting information in the other terminal using a callback SMS message and a device managing function, thereby enabling a user unskilled to handle the setting of a terminal to receive desired settings even when the user does not meet the other user. A method for handling terminal settings remotely comprises the following steps of: allowing a control terminal(200) to connect with a setting managing server(300) and transmit a request for changing the setting of a change terminal(100)(S110); allowing the setting managing server to transmit a message for requesting the change terminal to authenticate changing the setting of the change terminal to the change terminal through an SMC(Short Message service Center)(400)(S131); allowing the change terminal to transmit a response to the transmitted message to the setting managing server and allowing the setting managing server to transmit a response to the message, received from the change terminal, to the control terminal(S133); allowing the control terminal to transmit setting information to change to the setting managing server(S140); allowing the setting managing server to transmit an SMS callback URL for connection to the setting managing server to the change terminal through the SMSC(S150); allowing the change terminal to connect with the setting managing server using the SMS callback URL(Uniform Resource Locator)(S160); allowing the change terminal to download the setting information to change(S170); and allowing the change terminal to overwrite the downloaded setting information over current setting information and change the setting(S180).
