A heating tray with handles for a hot food metallic plate is provided to keep the food hot for a certain period of time, and to protect a person from getting burned or hurt from heat. A heating tray comprises: a metallic bedplate(10) including a flat seat(11) on the top; handles(12,12') at lower positions than the seat on both sides of the bedplate, for an easy and convenient carrying; and a built-in heating unit(20) inside the bedplate. The inner front end of the bedplate forms a tilt portion(14), and a heat diffusing plate is placed at the tilt portion such that heat from the lower heating unit is diffused to a broader area of a food plate. Each handle has a slit(15) for a person to grab the tray more easily or to hang the tray when it is not in use. |
