METHOD OF DISINFECTING CULTURAL PROPERTIES

A disinfection method is provided to disinfect museum-exhibition display items at high efficiency with the help of an easy-to-install facility for simple yet fully effective performances of disinfection. A disinfection method using a disinfection chamber comprises the steps of: placing a basket holding a target item into a disinfection chamber and closing a door of the chamber(S110); vacuumizing the disinfection chamber at the degree of 100-400mmHg(S120); stopping the operation of a vacuum exhaust pump, providing natural herb essential oil to the disinfection chamber, and changing the vacuum state back to an atmospheric pressure state(S130); operating a circulation fan inside the disinfection chamber in forward/backward directions to change flow of the fluid inside the disinfection chamber(S140); and ending the procedure after a preset period of time and taking out the disinfected target item from the disinfection chamber(S150).
