<p>A host device for installing a driver and a driver installation method thereof are provided to display a setting method for installing the driver in a separate window when the driver is installed, thereby removing difficulty for installing the driver. A user interface unit(112) provides stepped installation screens for installing a driver for an external device and a setting method screen, such as a moving picture for explaining a setting method, for displaying the setting method of the stepped installation screens, and receives a selection signal for the stepped installation screens. A driver installer(114) installs the driver by responding to the selection signal received through the user interface unit. The user interface unit provides the stepped installation screens in a wizard style. The user interface unit displays the stepped installation screens to a first area and displays the setting method screen to a second area.</p> |
