A method for preparing a dielectric ceramic material is provided to promote sintering by performing mechano-chemical grinding treatment, and to reduce an average particle diameter after sintering. A method for preparing a dielectric ceramic material having a raw material comprising barium titanate as a main component, a side component, and a sintering aid, includes a step of imparting shear stress and compressive force to at least the main component powder, wherein the shear stress and compressive force are based on centrifugal force of a mechanical rotor that gives rЋ^2=170 m/s^2 or greater. A ceramic condenser comprises plural electrodes and a dielectric layer which is provided between the electrodes and is formed of a sintered body of the dielectric ceramic material.
