摘要 An industrial high-strength and low-contraction polyester fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to determine the proper viscosity of the polymer for expressing the properties of matter. A polyester polymer with the inherent viscosity of 0.90 to 0.95 is melted and spun so that the cooled and solidified non-drawing yarn is manufactured. The non-drawing yarn is treated by drawing-heat setting-relaxation-winding-stretching processes by using a multi-stage drawing roller. In the drawing condition, the elongation ratio is 5.7 to 6.0, the relaxation ratio is 10 to 13%, the temperature of the relaxation area is 245 to 250 degrees in centigrade and the winding speed is 3500m/min. When manufacturing the non-drawing yarn, the cylinder temperature of an extruder is 295 to 305 degrees in centigrade. The manufactured fiber has the strength of above 8.5 g/d, the shrinkage of below 3% and the inherent viscosity of the original yarn of 0.75 to 0.85.
