<p>The heater (2) has a heating device surrounded upwards and downwards by a metallic shield (16), to prevent inflamed dust in an area of a heating mechanism from reaching plastic components, and prevent downward falling inflamed dust from reaching plastic components of a plastic housing (4). The metallic shield is continuously formed in a circumferential direction. The metallic shield is formed by a metallic tube section (18). The metallic shield extends in an axial flow direction, such that the shield surrounds an electromotive-fan device and an impeller of the fan device.</p> |
