摘要 A control device for a drive system (e.g. an automatic transmission system) in a hybrid vehicle comprises reverse drive force suppression means 86 operative to preclude output member, such as an output shaft 22 and drive wheels 34, of an automatic transmission portion 20 from inputting a reverse drive force to a differential portion 11. This prevents. e.g. when the vehicle is on a slope, a power transmitting member 18 from rotating in a direction opposite to a rotational direction set by a manually operated shift operation device (50, fig 6), thereby improving durability and possible damage to electric motor M1 by blocking the reverse drive force being transmitted to the electric motor M1. The control device comprises a shift position determining means 88 that establishes if the operation device is in a running position, a reverse rotation determining means 90 which determines when a rotational direction of wheels 34 becomes opposite to a direction set by a shift lever (52). If the wheels 34 are rotating in an opposite direction to the set direction then the reverse drive force suppression means 86 includes a rotations stop means which applies a brake device 72 and/or blocks an output member of the transmission portion 20 from rotating in a reverse direction.
