A router comprises a motor housing 1, 2 from the lower side of which projects a tool holding fixture 5, 6 for a routing tool connected to a drive 3, 4, and a guide unit 38 with two guide pillars 17, 18 for the motor housing. The motor housing is displaceably received on the first guide pillar 17 in at least one first bearing arrangement 19 and on the second guide pillar 18 in at least one second bearing arrangement 20. At least one bearing arrangement is designed at least partly as a rolling element guide 45, 46. The rolling element guide may be a circulating guide or a linear guide, and the rolling elements may be balls or rollers. |
