A router comprises a housing 10, which is displaceable with respect to a base plate 24 between a starting position (26, fig 1) and an end position (28, fig 1). A device for indicating the position of the housing is provided, which may comprise an indicator 36 that cooperates with a scale 34. The indicator may be fixedly connected to a guide pillar (18, 20, fig 1), and the scale may be provided on the housing. Preferably, the scale runs on the housing in the direction of a vertical axis 30 of the router, a zero point 38 being arranged at an upper end of the scale. |
