A plating apparatus is provided to protect an operator from harmful substances generated in the plating process by dipping a basket containing articles into a plating pot and coating colors on the articles through the apparatus, uniformly coat the articles by rotationally injecting and pulling out the articles into and from the plating pot, and perform the coating process easily irrespective of sizes of the articles by freely adjusting an elevation of the plating apparatus. A plating apparatus comprises: a bypass panel(10); a support(30) on which a plurality of gears(31-34) are installed; a motor installed on one side of the support and connected to a chain box in which a chain is installed; a body sleeve(40) which has a holder(50) formed on one side thereof, and which is removably installed on the support; first and second cylinders(60,90) moved in the vertical direction by the motor and the chain installed on the holder; a cam guide(70) installed between the first and second cylinders; a piston installed between the first and second cylinders and rotatably connected to the cam guide; and links(110) installed on a fixing member(100) and connected to the second cylinder.
