A server and a method for installing a client application in a client terminal through a webpage provided by a search engine are provided to enable the search engine to offer a user a keyword AD(ADvertisement) service and offer the client terminal various information related to the webpage continuously by providing the client terminal with the webpage including a link for installing the client application based on a search term received from the client terminal. A link setting part(610) sets up a link, which installs a client application in a client terminal under agreement of a user, in a webpage provided through keyword AD. An application installer(620) installs the client application to the client terminal of the user according to the agreement of the user connected to the webpage through the keyword AD. An information provider(630) continuously provides information related to the webpage to the client terminals in which the client application is installed. A billing unit(640) calculates a charge according to one of the quantity of the provided information, an installation count of the client application, and an information providing period, and bills the charge to an owner of a web server.
