A valve unit for a scroll compressor is provided to simplify the configuration of a bypass valve by allowing a valve plate to be slidably fitted to a valve stopper, and to reduce assembly cost of the bypass valve for reducing manufacturing cost of the scroll compressor. A valve unit for a scroll compressor comprises a stationary scroll(110), a valve stopper(121), and a bypass valve(120). The stationary scroll forms a compression chamber by engaging with an orbital scroll, and has a discharge hole through which refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber is discharged to an internal space of a casing. The valve stopper is fitted into the discharge hole of the stationary scroll. The bypass valve is slidably fitted to the valve stopper to open and close the discharge hole. |
