An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving data of a train turnout are provided to transmit the data at a high transmission speed by using a light converter only for the train turnout. An apparatus for transmitting and receiving data of a train turnout includes a first station data transceiver(100) and a second station data transceiver(200). The first station data transceiver includes a converter, a distributor, an interface unit, and a light converter. The converter converts data under a G.703 64K contradirectional interface protocol inputted from an SSI(Solid Status Interlocking) and a TFM(Trackside Functional Module) into series data under an RS232C protocol and transmits the data through a clock generated inside or outside. The converter operates in a subordinate mode and a control mode. The distributor broadcasts the series data to a first converter(110-1) and the light converter through a first interface unit(140-1) and selectively receives the series data from the first converter or the first interface unit according to a control signal received from the first converter or the interface unit. The interface unit controls transmission to correspond to synchronization of the data received from the distributor and the data received from the light converter or the converter by including a TC(Transmit Clock) port, an RC(Receive Clock) port, and an ETC(External Transmission Clock) port. The light converter converts the series data received from the interface unit into a light signal to output the light signal and converts the light signal received from the second station data transceiver into series data to output the series data to the interface unit. The second station data transceiver is installed on a distant place from the SSI and includes a converter and a light converter which perform the same functions as the converter and the light converter of the first station data transceiver. |
