A disconnector for a surge arrester is provided to prevent breakage in comparison with a conventional phenol resin by forming a resistor assembly body with silicon resin or teflon resin. A disconnector for a surge arrester includes a body(10) with a conductive housing formed on an inner bottom of the body. A gunpowder insertion groove is formed in the center of the conductive housing to insert gunpowder(20). A hollow unit is formed in the center of a resistor assembly body(40). At least one resistor is vertically erected in the resistor assembly body. A circular plate ring(30) is inserted into the body to connect a top of a resistor to a bottom of the conductive housing electrically. A cover(60) is coupled to a body(62). A connecting body(50) is electrically connected to the conductive body by being inserted into a hollow unit of the resistor assembly body. A circular ring shape insertion unit is inserted into the hollow unit of the resistor assembly body. A separation protrusion is formed on the resistor assembly body to maintain a spark gap terminal between the protrusion unit of the conductive housing and the insertion unit of the insertion unit by a predetermined interval. |
