An oil seal for use in a crank shaft of a vehicle is provided to prevent negative pressure from being generated between a dust lip and a main lip by forming a gap between the dust lip and the main lip with a negative pressure prevention protrusion. An oil seal for use in a crank shaft of a vehicle includes a supporting frame(110), a main lip(120), a dust lip(130), and a negative pressure prevention protrusion(140). The supporting frame is inserted between a crank housing and a crank shaft. The main lip is protruded from the supporting frame toward the crank shaft for preventing oil leakage in the crank housing through a gap between the crank housing and the crank shaft. The dust lip is protruded from the supporting frame toward the crank shaft for preventing dust in the air from entering a gap between the main lip and the crank shaft. The negative pressure prevention protrusion is formed on the dust lip and prevents negative pressure generation between the main lip and the dust lip during rotation of the crank shaft. |
