An indoor bankbook updating machine is provided to reduce time and cost by allowing a user to update a bankbook at home. An indoor bankbook updating machine includes a lens unit, a CPU unit, and a print head unit. The lens unit reads a bar code of a bankbook. The CPU unit determines which bank the bankbook is issued by and which processes are performed, based on the bankbook information which is read by the lens unit. The print head unit performs the processes determined by the CPU unit.
