<p>An air cleaner is provided to vary directions of sucked air and exhausted air by installing an air guide on inlets or an outlet of a housing, thereby guiding the direction of air entering and leaving the housing, and automate various wind direction modes by automatically rotating the air guide by power, thereby controlling rotation cycle and rotation angular velocity of the air guide. An air cleaner comprises: a housing in which air inlets(2A,2B) and outlet are formed; and an air guide(50) which is rotatably installed on the air inlet or outlet, and in which an air guide channel is formed to guide air entering and leaving the air inlets and outlet, wherein according to the rotation of the air guide, at least a portion of the air guide channel is covered by the housing such that the flowing area of air guided by the air guide varies. The air guide has a circular or partially arc shaped horizontal section, and a face of the air inlet or outlet facing an outer face of the air guide is formed in a curved line corresponding to the outer face of the air guide. The air guide is formed on an inlet through which air is sucked into the housing. The air guide includes an air guide inlet(51B) into which air is sucked and an air guide outlet(51C) for exhausting the sucked air into the housing, wherein according to the rotation of the air guide, a portion of the inlet of the air guide is covered by the housing such that the flowing area of air sucked into the air guide inlet varies. The air guide inlet and air guide outlet are covered by the housing when the air cleaner is not operated. The air guide is rotated by a motor(60).</p> |
