A spring for a slide-type portable terminal and the portable terminal using the spring are provided to realize a spring structure where a wire is bent at one story only without being rolled at plural stories, in order to minimize an increase of product thickness. The first elastic body(350A) has the first curved section(310A) bent in arch shape without a wire being stacked thereon, and has an elastic tendency to restore to an original state when curvature of the first curved section is changed. The second elastic body(350B) has the second curved section(310B) bent in arch shape without a wire being stacked thereon, and has an elastic tendency to restore to an original state when curvature of the second curved section is changed. A connecting body(330) connects the first elastic body with the second elastic body in a middle part.
