A preparation method of vitamin C tablets for treatment of tap water to remove residual chlorine from tap water is provided to increase hardness and strength of the tablets while minimizing amounts of an excipient and a releasing agent used and maximizing the purity of vitamin C that is a principal raw material. In a preparation method of water treatment tablets for residual chlorine removal comprising vitamin C as a principal raw material, a preparation method of vitamin C tablets comprises: obtaining tablets for water treatment comprising 300 weight parts of vitamin C, 4 to 1 weight part of a vegetable oil or aroma oil, and 3 to 0.2 weight part of water; spraying water onto the tablets; and drying the water-sprayed tablets. The tablets further comprises 3 to 0.2 weight part of at least one component for delaying the dissolution rate of the tablets selected from calcium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium siliconaluminate, carrageenan, and polyacrylic acid sodium based on 300 weight parts of vitamin C. The tablets further comprises 1 to 10 weight parts of at least one component for imparting functionalities to the tablets selected from a green tea powder, a rooibos tea powder, and a sulfur powder based on 300 weight parts of vitamin C. |
