<p>An air conditioner is provided to reduce power consumption and to prevent damage to a load by sensing short-circuit of an N terminal and preventing overcurrent from being supplied to the load. An air conditioner comprises a drive unit, a sensing unit(120), a control unit(130), and a switch unit. The drive unit is operated by receiving three-phase power. The sensing unit senses an error of three-phase power, and outputs a sensing signal. The control unit outputs a control signal and cut off three-phase power supplied to the drive unit using the switch unit on the basis of the sensing signal.</p> |
