An automated dishwashing system for an automated food service system is provided to reduce labor costs required for a series of food service process by automatically transferring used trays back to a dishwasher for completing washing and drying process of the trays. An automated dishwashing system for an automated food service system that comprises a first rail(200) for transferring a tray carrying ordered dishes or food ingredients to each platform of a customer service system, and a second rail(300) for transferring returned trays carrying used dishes from each platform for dishwashing process, the system comprises a dishwasher(400) for washing and drying the returned trays, having multilayer washing room, wherein each layer is provided with the rails, and a tray control system comprising first and second tray control systems(351,352), disposed between one end of the second rail and the dishwasher to transfer the returned trays to the dishwasher, and transfer the trays after washing and drying process in the dishwasher to the first rail.
