METHOD FOR USER INTERFACE OF MULTIMEDIA PLAYING DEVICE WITH TOUCH SCREEN

A method for a user interface of a multimedia player with a touch screen is provided to display play features in a wave form so that the user can check the play state of the multimedia file visually and control the played state easily. A method for a user interface of a multimedia player with a touch screen comprises the steps of: playing a multimedia file and displaying at least one play feature of the multimedia file in a first area of the touch screen(S200,S210); judging the type of input events to the displayed play feature(S220); and changing the shape of the play feature according to the type of the input events and controlling the play of the multimedia file(S300,S230). The play feature includes tone information, volume information, frequency band output information, and play speed information.
