A rear air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to prevent noise by installing at least one vortex preventive rib at the biggest gap between a blowing chamber case unit and a side wall of the vehicle. A rear air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioner case, a centrifugal fan(15c), an air inlet(11c), and an inlet ring(11d). At least one vortex preventive rib(20) is protruded from an outer surface of the inlet ring. The vortex preventive rib has predetermined length in the radius direction of the air inlet and has predetermined height to a side wall(2) of a vehicle body.
