Disclosed are microcapsules containing foreign material enclosed in microbial cells, which have excellent release speed, strength and sustainability. Also disclosed is a process for producing these microcapsules and oral compositions containing these microcapsules. The microcapsules can be obtained by adhering at least one member selected from the groups consisting of saccharides, sweeteners, proteins and polyhydric alcohols to the surface of a microorganism that contains the foreign material. |
