The heat exchanger(s) (1,2) or collector(s) is not only connected on the top and/or bottom sides of the storage vessel (3) for the liquid flowing through them, but also to the intermediate part of this vessel. A combination of at least two heat exchangers and/or collectors is connected to the top and/or bottom side of the storage vessel. The heat exchanger is e.g. a heating system (especially underfloor heating) or cooling system. The collector is a solar panel or can be a device for cooling the liquid by radiation and/or convection. The storage vessel can be an aquifer used as a heat or cold sink.
