Disclosed are immunomodulatory compositions comprising immunomodulatory particles, said particulate composition made by mixing a cationic condensing agent; and immunomodulatory compound comprising the nucleotide sequence 5'-CG-3'; and a nonioninc detergent. Also disclosed is the use of the above compositions for modulating immune response.
