The invention relates to the fibrous sorption-filter materials used in the manufacture of filter elements of the gas-smoke-protective self-rescuing means meant for individual protection of human respiratory apparatus. The material contains an aerosol substance sorbent layer, several gas-filter layers, as well as an outer layer of heat-resistant fibers, containing air-penetrable and active heat-absorbing layer, for example, of thermoadaptive biocomponent fiber of the type ôcore-coverö, the core of which is made of an alloy of law-melting-point metals chosen from the group: Bi, Pb, Cd, Hg, In, and the cover is made of glass. The air-penetrable and active heat-absorbing layer may be made in the shape of texture of mat or linen weave or in the shape of mat of arbitrarily woven fibers and is placed beyond the outer layer of heat-resistant fibers. The result consists in increasing the protective properties of the material.
