Subject of the invention is a vacuum cleaner with reduced vibration level, which is provided by clamping the suction unit into a special bridging chamber which is softly clamped into the enclosure, more specifically in the negative pressure part of the vacuum cleaner enclosure. The invention solves the problem of clamping and transmission of vibrations from the suction unit to the enclosure of the vacuum cleaner, where the cleaning performance of the vacuum cleaner is indirectly enhanced and the dust emission into the surrounding is reduced. The suction unit (47) is clamped into the suction device enclosure (35) where the problem of transmitting vibrations from the suction unit (47) to the body of the suction device (35) under increased negative pressure is solved by using a bridging chamber (21) which is located in the negative pressure chamber (17).
