A composite sintered body is provided to have both dielectric properties and magnetic properties, and to be used for an electro magnetic interference filter for high frequency noises of electronic equipment. A composite sintered body of a dielectric substance and a magnetic substance includes a hexagonal Ba ferrite crystal, a perovskite-type crystal containing Ti and at least one element selected from Ca, Sr, and Ba, and Li, and has a relative permeability of 1.4 or more at 1000 MHz. The composite sintered body comprises 55-95% by volume of the hexagonal Ba ferrite crystal and 5-45% by volume of the perovskite-type crystal. Further, the composite sintered body additionally comprises glass, and the glass comprises Si, Ca, Ba and Li and does not comprise Al and B.
