<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>A rock trap disposed in a feeder adapter of a combine directly behind a sickle <br/>bar of a <br/>combine header and in an area in front of a rearwardly directed conveyor <br/>located for receiving cut <br/>crop from transversely directed conveyor of the header. The rock trap has a <br/>trap door which can <br/>be selectively opened so as to drop beneath the header rocks collected <br/>therein.<br/>
