The device has vaporization units (24) with accumulator units (40) having an insert (42), which absorb a determined quantity of heat by changing a physical state according to an endothermic reaction, when a determined temperature increases at contact of an exhaust gas . The units restitute absorbed heat during an exothermal reaction when the temperature reduces to a temperature lesser than state changing temperature. The reduction of temperature is produced due to cooling caused by vaporization of a liquid reducing agent (22) on an active surface of the units (24).
