<p>The method involves acquiring a vibro-acoustic signal emitted by oil pressurizing units using a vibro-acoustic signal sensor i.e. accelerometer (2), and estimating a gas i.e. air, rate in a lubricating liquid i.e. oil, from the characteristics of the acquired signal. The estimation comprises filtering and amplifying the acquired signal and determining signal's excitation frequencies. A signal's spectral power density is calculated based on the frequencies and attenuation of the density is calculated with respect to a spectral power density of a reference signal, during the gas rate estimation.</p> |
