FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: prevention method of acute respiratory infections is developed for children with frequent recurrent diseases of respiratory tract. It consists in simalteneous administration of arbidol - 1 tablet (50 mg) twice a week during 3-4 weeks combined with selenium-active - 0.5 tablet (25 mcg of selenium) once a day during 3-4 weeks. In the course of 12 months the method helps to reduce frequency and general time duration of respiratory diseases by factor of 1.9 due to simulteneous correction of immune and metabolic state disorders. ^ EFFECT: reduction of frequency and general time duration of respiratory diseases. ^ 4 tbl, 3 ex
