A system of producing bioelectrochemical hydrogen using sun light is provided to prevent impure gas from being mixed into hydrogen finally obtained by forming an anode chamber separately from a cathode chamber. A system of producing bioelectrochemical hydrogen comprises an anode chamber in which oxidation reaction of organic substances occurs by bacteria, a cathode chamber in which bioelectrochemical hydrogen is generated, a proton exchange membrane installed between the anode chamber and the cathode chamber, and an electric potential control circuit. The anode chamber includes a working electrode made of a carbon felt and a reference electrode made of solid Ag/AgCl. The cathode chamber includes a counter electrode made of carbon felt or copper coated with white gold.
