#CMT# #/CMT# Cosmetic kit comprising at least two compositions packaged separately comprises a moisturizing polymer and two silicones (X and Y) that react together by hydrosilylation, condensation or crosslinking in the presence of a peroxide, provided that X and Y are not present in the same composition. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for: (1) cosmetic care or make-up method for keratinic materials, comprising applying a moisturizing polymer, silcones X and Y as above and optionally a catalyst or peroxide, either simultaneously or sequentially in any order provided that it favors the interaction of X and Y; (2) cosmetic care or make-up method for keratinic materials, comprising applying a layer of a composition containing silicone X and applying a layer of a composition containing silicone X, where at least one of the compositions contains a moisturizing polymer. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The kit is useful as a cosmetic care or make-up product for keratinic materials, especially human skin. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The silicones react together on the skin to form a film that improves and prolongs the moisturizing action of the polymer. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Polymer: The moisturizing polymer is an acrylamido 2-methylpropane sulfonic acid polymer (preferred), an ethoxylated polydimethylsiloxane, an amphiphilic polystyrene block copolymer, an ethoxylated polyalkyl (meth)acrylate, a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene block copolymer, an amino acid polymer, a galacturonic acid polymer or a phosphorylcholine-functional acrylic polymer. Preferred Silicones: In the case of hydrosilylation, silicone X is a polydimethylsiloxane with terminal vinyl groups and silicone Y is a polysiloxane comprising methyl hydrogen siloxane and optionally dimethyl siloxane units. In the case of condensation, silicones X and Y are polydimethylsiloxanes with terminal alkoxysilyl groups. |
