FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of feeding the fuel-air mix into the four-stroke internal combustion engine includes feeding a new portion of fuel-air mix in the engine cylinder via a variable volume intake channel, its volume variation depending upon the engine operating conditions and allowing providing for a resonance effect and increasing the pressure in intake path space. A new portion of the before said mix to be fed into the engine working cylinder is formed in the through space of intake path, that is, a variable-volume resonance chamber limited by non-return valves, while the new portion being formed being equal to the amount of working medium in a cylinder. The device for feeding the fuel-air mix into the four-stroke internal combustion engine incorporates, at its inlet, a choke valve and a variable-volume intake path. One non-return valve is arranged in the intake path in nearby the cylinder intake valve, while the second valve is arranged in the intake path so that space between the valves, in the resonance chamber, is filled with a new portion of the before said mix corresponding to an optimum volume for the entire operating range of working speeds. ^ EFFECT: efficient filling of the cylinder in all operating conditions and lower fuel consumption. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg |
