FIELD: personal articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: universal book holder comprises pair of cover members for forming an inner space to receive a book therein when being folded and for supporting both sides of the book when being unfolded, a supporting unit, a string, a clamp and a supporting frame. The supporting unit has a receiving groove formed longitudinally thereon. The string installed longitudinally in the supporting unit to fix the back of the received book.
