#CMT# #/CMT# The headrest (20) has a rod (30) inserted into a part of a backrest (14) of a seat of a motor vehicle. The rod is fixed to a lower portion of a body (22) by a swivelling connection e.g. bearing (46). A hook (72) is triggered by depressing the rod in the backrest until a depressing position is reached. The hook automatically rotates the body with respect to the rod to bring the body from a usage position to a non-usage position. An elastic retaining unit e.g. torsion spring, is fixed to the body, and exerts stress on the rod to bring the body from the usage position to the non-usage position. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Adjustable headrest for a backrest of a seat (claimed) of a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The hook automatically rotates the body with respect to the rod to bring the body from the usage position to the non-usage position, so that the headrest can be brought to the normal position automatically, when the rear seat is not occupied by a user, thus enhancing the visibility of a driver towards rear of the vehicle.
