#CMT# #/CMT# The device has a rectangular plate (8) with a cup point (9), whose base is provided with an axial boring (O) and an auto-perforation and/or self-tapping fixation screw (1) including an under-head thread (4). A fillet of the thread presents a shapeless form and includes a surface at a head side, where the surface is inclined along a slope equal to 15 degree at a radial plane of the cup point. The cup point presents a rounded base having a tangent in an axial plane, and houses a screw head (5), where the tangent makes an angle between 30 and 60 degrees with respect to an axis of the cup point. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for fixing a compressible cover on a support structure by screwing for fixing a sealing membrane covering an insulation jointing made of compressible material carried by a rigid support e.g. steel box, or a rigid cover support mounted on a framework. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device allows an edge of the boring to be carried on the surface along an angle of incidence such as axial effort exerted on the plate in direction of a point of the screw to deform the cup point in the direction of the narrowing of the diameter, when the thread is screwed in the boring, thus confirming the axial blocking of the plate on the screw, and hence allowing the plate to swivel on the screw without compromising the axial blocking. The cup point houses the screw head to allow the covering of the plate by an adhesive layer, thus ensuring the continuity of the sealing of the jointing at the level of the plate. The configuration of the cup point reduces the diameter of the boring.
